Grasp of Wind

Kodaline, was the common first discovery.
Peeping at his radio tracks, and the songs goes...
-- All i want, is The one, with High hopes that, Love will set us free.

The midnight oil nights with notes and tutorials,
calculator and law,
reckon Red Bull would keep us awake.

In his fast car, singing to the tunes we know.
He said if there's a guessing songs name competition he would win.
Navigating the road we're heading, turn right but I'd always say left.
My sense of direction, definitely isn't the best thing.
Talking about our future in bits of a puzzle,
and all the absolute things we could talk on.

Got out from this small town of ours, to the city we dreamed of.
Three months, felt like I know this person better.
Japanese food is his top picks, and I'm a real badass when it comes to food.
Likely to sharpen a person's patience with my eating speed.
But he's the sweetest for waiting over the table.

Too bad,
he said he doesn't like to make anyone wait on him for something,
but I'm the exception.
He made me want to be a better person,
but underestimated on what I could do.

Never met a fickle-mind quite like his.
It was hard to decide which car scent smells good, which scissor cuts better.

-"Did you feel any regret for coming over in the city?"
"No."
"Me too."

It took me a while to get here, maybe even longer than it should have.

I hope you'll find what you're looking for.
