Present; Be Here, Right Now.
They said meet more new people!
In fact, we meet so many people in our daily life, daily activities.
Except, there wasn't any chance to get to know each one of them. I mean it would be really weird to just walk up to some stranger and initiate a talk.
You could, but then the magic don't happen that way... you're not gonna be friends with some strangers that you just randomly met isn't it. Even imagining it now in my head just feels weird and off.
Maybe that's the reason why every time we said to ourselves 'I need to meet more new people' and it didn't actually happen. We all know, friendship don't start off like that often. It usually through one friend's friend, another friend's friend etc that we kinda know who people are.
Whenever I tell my friend that I need to meet more people, she would say "doesn't sound like a new news, you already said that for countless times... " ._.
I guess saying that statement 'I need to meet more people' give a sense of hope and reassurance to my doubts that life won't stay this suck, it'll get better by meeting new people that maybe somehow... will get myself to some new adventure.
My point is that...
the concept behind the statement 'I need to meet more people' always lead us to look forward with what's out there in store we can get, what's coming soon.
Yes, it is a good outlook one can have but there's also one important element often been overlook from the statement as well, just like the title of this blog... ... present; be here, right now.
Forever is composed of nows.
Start with where you are right now, what you got, be there for the people around you, anticipate as much with your current life because you don't know what tomorrow or the future brings.

I used to think that probably life will be better if I go to a whole new place, a city where nobody knows me. Then after being wiser each year, my answer changes.
It really doesn’t matter where the place is, because the adrenaline will wear off after a period of time and reality hits you back. And you’re back to hustling... it’s simply back to square one. Plus you’ll never know the intention of new strangers/people have with you.
So the best is to start at right where you are, with people who love you for who you are and of course the easy access to nasi lemaks hehee.
It could also simply start from the simplest thing, the daily chores - a very present example of everyday life. Remember the sighs and unwillingness to do chores every time?
I'd say make the bed, clean that messy desk.
These mundane everyday little things, they do impact my mood and life feels more organized in an upright way :)
Sweeping, mopping, washing. It can be tiring but try to enjoy doing them because you're living and you're doing life just as how it is.
I blast musics while doing house chores because it can get really reallyyy boring :o
What makes a happy home, comes from a sincere heart.
I love to have my living space to be clean and comfortable most of the time, trust me you'll feel really good when things are tidy and neat. It DOES affects the mood and vibes. 101% confirm.
p.s I do have my messy lazy days too!
Stop thinking too much about the future, what's gonna happen etc. I mean you do need to consider these aspects but let's not make it a little too much, aye?
The focus is try to live in the present and make out most of it.
Because the things that you worry might not even be a worry in the first place.
Love yourself MORE!
Pamper yourself because you deserved for trying your very best - go different places, try new things, and discover what excites you.
Because life have taught me that in the end, you're the only person who you can depend on.
So grow, learn, and build your own character at its best along the journey.
I always said this to myself "let life surprise you, c'est la vie."
Life will not fail you because you're what make life is all about, not what life made you.
Keep going, start the step with yourself and things will eventually fall into place.
Let's not forget to appreciate the people we've already know that have always been there for us in our life :)
Quality over quantity!
always be present wherever you are!
